The Red Shoe

Forced to leave their families behind, Jewish teenagers Fanye and Rivkah flee their hometown during the Nazi invasion. Being chased through the woods by an armed Nazi soldier, they are forced to make life-and-death

The Red Shoe is a short film written by Arielle Beth Klein and directed by K. Lorrel Manning. Klein wrote this short inspired by her grandmother’s Holocaust survival story as well as research about the town of Bolochov.
